Finally, the end of the year is here!! I am officially a junior. Papers flew everywhere as students ran out of the building. My summer was finally here. No more stupid superficially girls, stupid guys and annoying teachers. At least till august. I smelled one more last breath of school and ran to my car. Kids where all talking in the parking lot when a sudden run of ringing cell phones rang past. I looked at my cell phone and I saw a new message. I groaned at the tiny text saying ‘END OF THE YEAR PARTY!! @ EVENT CENTER TONIGHT, BE THERE!!’ Suddenly my best friend Charlotte (Charlie) ran to me with her cell open. “Are you going??” “ehhhh” I sighed looking for my keys. “I’m taking that as a yes, you are going!!” she yelled and then dragged me to her house to get dressed. I’m guessing I was at least lucky to wear skinny jeans. I didn’t have a problem with the party, but then Charlie had something in store for me as she pulled me into a room in the hallway of the event center with a small group of people. She shoved a pillowcase in my face and said, “PICK!!” I put my hand in the bag and pulled out a fingerless Spiderman glove. Suddenly a cute emo boy with ink black hair with blond tips jumped up saying, “ME, oh, ME” raising his hand. He took one last sip of red bull and whispered in the ear of the guy next to him , “oooh she’s cute,” Then raised his hand again screaming, “ME”. He ran to me and grabbed my hand and pulled me into the closet. I took the glove from my hand and put it on and Charlie closed the door. He gently pressed me on the wall and breathed on my lips, “Hey your pretty----, wanna make out??” “umm, well I barley know you and-----,” he cut me off with the tip of his index fingers whispering, “Ah sh sh sh, I’m Tyler, I’ve drank about three red bulls soooo I’m hype with energy. Sooo what do you want to do???” I giggled and said, “ welllll, that first thing sounded okay……………….” Suddenly before I could say anything more he pressed his lips on mine. Suddenly, what started hyper and fast, he went slower and more gentle. As I pulled away for air he didn’t let go of the hold he had on my head. He suddenly breathed, “okk…. I think the sugar is wearing off.” I laughed and said, “well I guess it skipped to me ‘cause….” I pounced on him and we crashed on the floor. He laughed as I pinned him down. he suddenly rolled on top of me and growled, “it came back.” I laughed and he attacked my neck looking for a weak spot. I giggled when he gently kissed it. I grabbed the back of his neck and slowly brought his lips to mine. He smiled into it as he said between kisses, “Will,,, you,,,go,,,out,, with,,, me??” I smiled that he couldn’t finished his sentence. Suddenly the door opened and everybody whooped. Tyler picked me up and carried me out over his shoulder. He ran out the door and I giggled, “Where are we going?” he chuckeled, “The park!!” he grabbed my waist as we crashed into the sand in the swing set. I laughed because I landed on him. He stared at me for a minute as he brushed my hair out of my face. I laughed and said, “so the red bull wear off??” he laughed and said, “yeah, and now you see the real me, sorry about the sugar rush.” I tapped his nose and said, “don’t be sorry, it was adorable. And yes, I would love to go out with you.” He grabbed my head gently and kissed me. I think I could get used to this. :D

Out of all holidays in the year, why did today have to be Valentines Day? Especially when you’re in high school, ever corner I look there is couples going all gooey with presents and a lot of kissing. I rolled my eyes in disgust; Valentines Day seems like just an excuse for couples to show how much they can spend on each other. Or at least that’s what they expect us to think, I guess. ‘OK just two more periods left till the weekend ‘, is what I kept repeating to myself walking to English, 8th period. I walked faster and faster, cutting through trying not to look at these gooey couples. I sighed in relief when I found room 309. My English teacher let the day roam free since we had finished all the work we she had planned yesterday. I was just crippling over my composition when the worst thing possible happened. I forgot that valentine grams cam in during 8th period. As the head cheerleader was calling out names, I sighed in relief as she said, “ok and the last one for……… a _______ ______,” my eyes widened as she handed me a rose with a tag on it. She left and I opened the tag, my eyes widened even more as the card said, “My heart is forever yours, I hope to uncover my face to you soon love, sincerely your secret admirer.” Rob, my science partner, came and in the desk in front of me with wide smiles and said poking my side and said, “woooo, who’s it from.” I laughed and said, “ ummm, a secret admirer, I never really thought some one would like me.” He smiled and said, “Well anything is possible, did you hear about the party at Kyle’s house?” “Nooo…..” “Well I already got you an invite already, Kate was supposed to tell you next period but I felt like telling you.” He grinned widely and I sighed, “Ok, I’ll go, but just because I don’t really have anything else to do. I’ll see you there.” The bell rang and I didn’t really pay attention to the hall ways. I just kept on looking at the rose. ‘Who could it be?’ I asked my self, ad right when the day got good, it had to happen at the end of the day. Kate was invited to the party too so we went home as soon as we could to get ready. What was horrible was that I was supposed to wear red. Eventually I found a red skirt and the rest was black. I hadn’t worn the skirt since Christmas and I dreaded wearing it. We drove up to Kyle’s house and gave him our invitations. Rob snuck up on me and hugged me from behind. Kate dragged me to the living room and I panicked when I saw a group of guys and girls around a table and a pillowcase filled with stuff. Kate sat me down and shoved the pillowcase in my lap and said, “Pick, NOW!” I shoved I’m hand in the case. I felt something round and in the shape of a heart. I pulled it out and it was a heart shaped lollipop. “LOLIPOP!” Kate yelled and no one seemed to stand up but then I looked aside and saw a bunch of guys pushing up Rob form the couch. Rob blushed adorably and offered his hand. I took it, ‘cause I knew he wouldn’t bite, and it might be fun ‘cause well,,, he’s cute. Kate slammed the door closed and yelled, “30 minutes!!” I heard Rob slide on the wall to the ground. I sat next to him and said, “So, how’s your night so far.” “Well, sucky, I haven’t gotten the courage tell the one person I love, that I love her.” He sighed hiding his face in his hands. “awww, who is she?” I said “Well it’s not very easy to tell you.” He muffled under his hands. “Who? I won’t tell.” I assured him. “Well, umm, umm, her name is, well she is...........um you.” “Who?” I told him, I didn’t clearly hear him. “its you _____,I’m the one who sent you the rose, I’m the one who is completely in love with you, your smart, funny, caring, and beautiful.” He pressed his hand on his mouth and muffled, “did I just say that out loud?” I was still in shock, then I remembered how he stared at me during class, always helped me with anything, was there when my parents where fighting and I was depressed, how could I be so stupid. That’s when I admitted to my self, I did like him. I got on my knees in front of his face and took his hands away from his mouth and said, “Rob, I have a news flash for you, I like you too, or shall I say love. You’re loving, never judged and completely adorable. And why do you cover your mouth, it only stops me from doing this………….” I wrapped my arms around his neck and gently kissed his lips. He smiled as I felt a tear come down his eye. He kissed me back and continued smiling in between. He wrapped his arms around my waist when I noticed I was on top of him. He rolled on top of me and said; “now you didn’t think I was going to let you have all the control, did you?” he went down to my neck, searching for a weak spot. When he found it he kissed it lightly and I sighed his name. He brought me back up to his eye level as I wrapped my legs around his waist. He placed his arms around my waist and I around his neck. He stared at me for a few seconds before saying, “________, I have always loved you, and I promise you I’ll never let you fall. Will… will you go out with me?” I got closer to him and breathed on his lips, “did you really even have you ask?” I gave him a small kiss on his lips and then it became a lot more as it got deeper and deeper. Suddenly the door slammed open and we heard lots of awww’s. He picked me up and carried me to the couch. I sat in his lap the whole party, playing with his hair. He fell asleep soon after three hours of talking. That’s when I thought ‘maybe valentines day, isn’t an excuse for buying presents, maybe it was a holiday of truelove.’
